Community Care Hospice Training

Submitted by Ryan Alexander

At Community Care Hospice Services we aim to improve the quality of life for people living with a progressive, life-limiting illness and those who are bereaved. Each year we support over 800 individuals and their families through their journey with illness and/or grief. Our team of nearly 100 highly trained volunteers are instrumental in allowing us to reach across the City of Kawartha Lakes with our programs and services. This is why we are hosting a training in the Fenelon Falls community. Many of the individuals and families supported by Hospice Services are from the Fenelon Falls and surrounding areas like, but not limited to: Coboconk, Burnt River, Norland, Kinmount, and Bobcaygeon.  We hope to recruit volunteers from those areas – Please see attached for details!

Please contact Hospice Services for information about our upcoming Volunteer Training.
