As mentioned last week, our major Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 28th at the Fenelon Fairgrounds in the Fenelon Agricultural Society Memorial Building. The entrance will be clearly marked and, as you enter, there will be vendors on both sides leading to the tables of plants and finally to the cashier at the other end of the building as you exit. This is a cash only sale!

Tables will be set up by “Shade Plants” and “Sun Plants” and there will be “Houseplants” too. Common names will be on the plant pots. Prices will be in $5 increments ($5, $10 and $15). We will have hostas, rudbeckia, Native plants and many, many more. Cardboard and plastic trays, as well as carts/wheelbarrows/wagons will be available to help get plants to vehicles.

If you or anyone you know would like to donate plants but are in need of people to do the digging, please contact Darlene on the backyardbuzz.ca site.We hope you have marked May 28th on your calendar - - it will be the perfect time for planting your new acquisitions!

On Monday, May 30th, 2022, we will be holding our second “in-person” meeting. It will start at 7:00 PM at the Fenelon Fairgrounds in the Fenelon Agricultural Society Memorial Building.

All “leftover” plants will still be there and if you are interested in looking at them, you may want to arrive between 6:15 and 6:30. Purchases will still be “Cash Only”!

Our meeting speaker will be sharing many insights into Indigenous plantings and there will also be three new baskets (tickets are one for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00) in our “Gifting For Gardeners” offerings. We hope to see you there!
