The Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Club to host a Fall Craft Show on Oct 21st

The Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Club was fortunate to recently receive funding from the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund to contract a volunteer recruiter/coordinator for the club.

We filled the position with the hiring of Verda Gross who has been diligently working at improving our communications within the community. By being present at the centre our membership has increased and with that our volunteer base. She still has lots of work ahead of her but to date the position has proven to be successful.

One such effort is the return of our Fall Craft Show which will be held at our centre on October 21st.

This show not only provides a lovely unique shopping experience for the community but helps to provide exposure to local crafters and artisans. The FFSC is once again pleased to be providing this popular social event, assisted by our volunteers with leadership provided by our Volunteer Coordinator and Recruiter, and we are looking forward to its success.

Additionally, we would like to thank Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes for their work in the Community Services Recovery Fund and for their continued support for the Fenelon Falls Seniors Club.

We look forward to seeing you on the 21st for a unique shopping experience.
