Q. When was the organization founded? 

  • The Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Club was founded more than 50 years ago and we wanted to share some fun facts about the club.

Q. What was the inspiration to start the organization?

  • Our inspiration was to meet the needs of seniors through socializing, weekly activities, workshops and programs.

Q. What type of services or programs does your organization offer?

  • We offer exercises for seniors, shuffleboard, bid euchre, duplicate bridge, line dancing, chair yoga, pole walking and zumba just to name a few activities.

Q. What do you wish people knew about your organization?

  • We wish people knew that although are name is the Seniors' club, are doors are open to anyone who wishes to participate in any of our activities, programs and workshops.

  • Another misconception is that you have to be a resident of Fenelon Falls.  We have participants from all communities around us. 

Q. What are you most proud of your organization? 

  • We are very proud of our facility.  Our clean, bright and spacious hall is used by many groups as well as rentals for various functions.  We have a new 86" smart TV and a hepa air filtration system that constantly circulates clean air.  Our fully stocked kitchen is used by many and our hall is wheelchair accessible.

Q. Describe yourself organization in one or two words? 

  1. For a not-for-profit registered charitable organization, run completely by volunteers, we have sustained the club through membership fees, donations, rental contracts and fundraising revenue.

Our hall is usually open 5 days a week if you would like to see the hall in person or pick up our brochure.
