This weekend the Fenelon Falls Curling Club is hosting the Annual Bonspiel for Charity, this year in support of the Kawartha North Family Health Team. There will be two draws, with the first at 9 am, and second at 11:15 am. Spectators and visitors are welcome!
From the Fenelon Falls Curling Club website:
“Over the years the club has become known not only for great curling but for its warm hospitality and social atmosphere! The club has four sheets of ice with a sand base and a large, comfortable lounge with full kitchen facilities and bar. The lounge and kitchen facilities can be rented out for special events such as banquets and weddings.
The club offers curling for all ages and ability levels. The curling season runs from late October to the end of March. Throughout the year we offer a variety of curling leagues and run a number of Bonspiels. We also offer a junior curling program. FFCC have designated O.C.A representatives and host many O.C.A. events during the year.
We welcome spectators and visitors at all of our events. During the season we hold free practice sessions every Sunday afternoon and welcome curlers and non-curlers to come out and give the game a try.”
