New Holiday Decor in Fenelon Falls

Just in time for Santa Day, downtown Fenelon Falls was decked out for the holiday season. As you cross the Lindsay Street bridge you’ll pass the beautiful winter baskets filled with seasonal greenery and the Tourism Office decorated with hanging baskets for the holiday season. As you enter downtown after dark you’ll be greeted by lighted winter banners, lighted garland and giant red bows adorning the street light poles on Colborne Street from Water Street to Bond Street.

The Fenelon Falls & District Chamber of Commerce (FFDCC) was able to make the dream of new holiday decor a reality with funding from the Government of Canada’s Tourism Relief Fund, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). The project was supported with funds that were delivered by Regional Tourism Organization 8 to help Fenelon Falls attract new visitors and drive economic growth in Kawartha Lakes.

The FFDCC would like to thank Jennifer Kerstens, Chamber Director for her leadership and hard work on this new portfolio. Thanks also goes to volunteers from Cable Cable, the installation crew from City of Kawartha Lakes, Trish Dougherty, and the team at Big Event Floral for playing a role in pulling together the many pieces of the holiday decor.

We invite you to come and celebrate the holiday season in Fenelon Falls!
